We are so sorry to hear of Gregory’s passing. In that we will be unable to attend his homegoing service tomorrow, we want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of loss. May God comfort you, keep and bless you always. Jeffrey Alan Goldberg was born in Orange, New Jersey on February 12, 1958. He went to grade school at Mount Pleasant Elementary in Livingston, New Jersey and later graduated from Plantation High School in South Florida. Jeff then went on to open the popular Route 58 Deli in Virginia Beach.
She guided me on how the procedure works when preparing arrangements for a loved one. When I left the establishment my mind was so at ease and I was comfortable with the arrangements that were made. Thank you so much Ms. Todd for everything that you did for me and I couldn't have had a better person to help me with this journey. I have been a customer of the floral shop for several years and will miss her very much.

Nick Ivey, our funeral director, was simply the kindest person and made himself available around the clock for all of our needs and questions. There is no way our family could've gotten through this without him and the entire wonderful staff at Altmeyer. Our lives were enriched the day we met Wy last summer.

Condolences to Tim and all the rest of her family and loved ones. I met Wy about 12 years ago when she attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Norfolk. I am the church organist and she really loved organ music. I visited her home a few times and played the organ for her in her home.
Krissy is the director we worked with and she was wonderful. She made an extremely difficult time so much easier to navigate. She took care of setting up everything we wanted displayed for my mother's visitation and did a beautiful job. She also put together a slide show of photos i sent her to show and she did it much faster than I could have! Krissy was readily available via phone or email to answer any questions throughout the process and never made us feel like we were bothering her.
Thank you Frank for all your help through our difficult time. I cannot begin to say enough great things about Steve Jasko, Gene Fahey and the entire staff at Altmeyers. They went above and beyond to accommodate our family and our every want and need during such trying time. Everyone there was incredibly caring and worked diligently to provide our Father a dignified and beautiful service while ensuring our safety the entire time.
She was a ray of sunshine through the most difficult time of our lives. Melissa Anthony did a wonderful job explaining the different aspects of what is offered and required for a funeral. My husband and I were very pleased with her information and knowledge. We will not only be doing business with her for my parents, but we will also be looking into funeral services for ourselves. My Dad had passed away New Years Eve, Frank at Almeyers went above and beyond to help make things easier getting everything needed for my Dads memorial service.

I felt right at home talking with her and I honestly can’t say enough good comments about her. I recommend Altmeyers to anyone and everyone. I work for Century Cut Flowers and delivered to Chris and Tim for about two and a half years. I really got to know her during that time and she was a wonderful person.
Wyona was born December 13, 1924 in Bristol, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry D. And Grace Lee Payne, an infant son, her sister Ardith Young and brothers James W. Payne and Perry R. Payne. She also known as the Yodeling Cowgirl broadcasted by radio station WOPI. And in that period of time lived a very exciting life surrounded by quite a few famous people. She later located to Norfolk, VA where she worked in electronics and retired from NARF.
